I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology followed by a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado. I then proceeded to graduate with a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited program in Clinical Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2007.
I completed my APA-accredited, doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at Aurora Mental Health Center in Colorado. During my internship I had the privilege of working with a multidisciplinary treatment team in providing outpatient services to clients of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, suffering from disorders involving mood, anxiety, psychosis, and personality.
My postdoctoral residency was at Deer Oaks Mental Health Associates in Dallas, Texas. I provided outpatient individual therapy, family therapy, and couples counseling through the Deer Oaks Employee Assistance Program. I also conducted individual therapy in various nursing home facilities with older adult clients suffering from depression, anxiety, and dementia.
After my postdoctoral residency, I worked as a licensed psychologist with Senior PsychCare in Dallas, Texas. I gained experience conducting neurobehavioral evaluations for patients and wrote interpretations of cognitive tests done on patients with dementia. In addition, I provided individual therapy for nursing home residents and family therapy for residents and their relatives.
I also worked as an assistant professor at Argosy University. I taught psychology courses for undergraduate and doctoral students; served on several students' research project committees and on the university's Institutional Review Board (IRB) committee, which oversees ethical review of proposed research.

Robert attended Texas A&M University and completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Business. Robert then attended Argosy University where he completed his Masters in Professional Counseling.
Robert completed his Masters in Professional Counseling at Argosy University. His internship was at the Children’s Advocacy Center where he utilized play and art therapy for children of abuse and activity therapy for adults of abuse. After completing his internship, Robert worked with children diagnosed with ADHD and Intermittent Explosive Disorder at Metocare Dallas.
While working for Metrocare, Robert worked as a Professor of Practice at Argosy University where he taught undergraduate classes in Interpersonal Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Human Sexuality. In addition, Robert worked in Southlake where he provided therapeutic services to church members and lead parenting groups.
Robert also has experience working with children and adults who have experienced multiple mental health inpatient hospitalizations. He works with clients to stabilize and improve their quality of life.

James attended Texas A&M University and completed his undergraduate degree in Business Management. James then attended Dallas Theological Seminary where he completed his Masters in Biblical Counseling.
James completed his Masters in Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. His practicum was at His Bridgebuilders, a non-profit job and life skills training program, where James provided counseling support for individuals going through the program. James utilized short-term therapies with adults.
After completing his degree, James worked at the Excel Center in Lewisville, providing partial hospitalization and intensive out-patient services for adolescent clients.
James also has experience working with adolescents and adults who have experienced multiple mental health inpatient hospitalizations. He works with clients to stabilize and improve their quality of life.
